POS Policies

In accordance with Welfare and Institutions Code (WIC) Section 4629.5(b)(5), regional centers are required to make their Purchase of Service (POS) policies publicly available. These policies guide how services and support are authorized and funded for individuals with developmental disabilities.

POS policies are developed to ensure fair, consistent, and equitable access to services, while considering individual needs, preferences, and the principles of person-centered planning. They also help families and individuals better understand the guidelines used in determining service eligibility and delivery.

Below are the service standards and POS policies currently in place. Documents are available in both English and Spanish.
