IPP Translations
In accordance with Welfare and Institutions Code (WIC) Section 4519.5(a)(6) and (7), regional centers are required to track and report on the provision of Individual Program Plan (IPP) translations for individuals and families whose primary language is not English.
This data helps ensure that language is not a barrier to accessing person-centered planning and services. IPPs must be provided in the preferred language of the individual or family, whenever possible, to support informed decision-making and equitable service delivery.
Annual data on IPP translation requests and fulfillment is collected and reported to promote transparency and improve language access across our community.
The most recent IPP translation data report is available below.
