**Attention All Early Start Providers**
The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA) has awarded a one-time, time-limited supplemental grant funds to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Part C- Grants for Infants and families. The purpose of the grant is to aid in the recovery from the impacts of the pandemic, and to support early intervention providers in delivering effective and family centered services. The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) has allocated funds to regional centers to reimburse early intervention service providers for the cost of training fees and/or staff time to attend training. Staff time to attend training is reimbursed at the vendor’s current hourly rate, up to a maximum of $50.00/hour, whichever is less. The Early Start Provider Training grant is available from now until the funds are exhausted, but no later than September 30, 2023.
